Sunshine Hospital offers the following services to participating WCA companies:

  • Employees will not be turned away due to incomplete documentation. A risk assessment is done telephonically with hospital management to establish whether the claim is legitimate and the paperwork is followed up the next day or on the following Monday should your employee be injured over the weekend.
  • We have negotiated the same arrangement with all other services, including the x-ray department with regards to documentation, resulting in the swift handling of all medical requirements.
  • Transport is available to pick up your injured employees from your premises and deliver them back to your premises after being attended to by our casualty staff. This service is available weekdays between 8:00am and 4:00pm.
  • Transport is also available to transport your employees to their residence should they be admitted and then discharged or booked off work. This service is available weekdays between 8:00am and 4:00pm and is limited to the East Rand.
  • The ensuing documentation that is required will be delivered to your offices once obtained by the relevant departments involved.
  • All WCA patients that are admitted into the hospital will receive a toiletry pack which includes all basic toiletries.
